Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has suggested that the upcoming Premier League fixture against Brighton may be his final appearance for the club.

Speaking in a candid interview with ViaPlay Football following Liverpool’s 3-3 draw at Leeds United, Salah revealed he has been left out of the starting lineup for three consecutive matches under manager Arne Slot, including the Leeds game where he remained on the bench for the full 90 minutes.

With the Africa Cup of Nations approaching, the Egyptian forward’s future at Anfield is under intense speculation, and he could potentially depart the club during the January transfer window.

“I told my parents to come to the Brighton game. I don’t know if I will play, but I’m going to enjoy it,” Salah said. “I will be at Anfield to say goodbye to the fans before heading to Africa Cup.”

The comments have sparked renewed debate over Salah’s Liverpool tenure and whether the 32-year-old will leave England mid-season.
