Anthony Joshua Calls Out Tyson Fury After KO Win Over Jake Paul; Fury Promoter Confirms 2026 Fight Plans

Anthony Joshua issued a call for a long-awaited showdown with Tyson Fury following his sixth-round knockout of Jake Paul in Miami on Saturday. The victory marked Joshua’s first fight since his September 2024 defeat to Daniel Dubois and showcased his return to form.

Fury’s promoter, Frank Warren, confirmed that a Fury-Joshua bout is likely in 2026 but emphasized that the fight will only happen if the financial terms meet Fury’s expectations. Warren told Sky Sports News, “Tyson has his price. If he gets his price, he’ll be in there to fight him.”

Both fighters are expected to take warm-up matches before the potential clash, which Warren indicated could occur in August or September 2026. The location may depend on commercial considerations, with Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a strong contender given Fury’s recent bouts there.

Warren expressed confidence in Fury’s advantage, pointing to Joshua’s vulnerability against smaller, technical fighters. “Tyson will knock AJ out. He’s a big puncher. AJ is not hard to hit and he’s in with a proper boxer with a big chin,” he said.

Joshua’s post-fight call-out to Fury reflects a renewed focus after his win over Paul, while Fury has taken to social media in response, heightening anticipation for the potential all-British clash. A fight between the two would mark one of the most significant matchups in heavyweight boxing in years, drawing massive attention both in the UK and internationally.
