Tyson Fury isn’t ready to let the Oleksandr Usyk chapter close just yet.
Despite losing twice to the Ukrainian in 2024, the British heavyweight is once again stirring the pot—declaring himself the only man who can hand Usyk a defeat.
In a video posted on social media, Fury gave credit to Usyk for his recent knockout win over Daniel Dubois but couldn’t resist reminding the boxing world of his belief in his own superiority.
“Massive respect to Oleksandr Usyk. He and Daniel put on a great show. It was a real fight. Fair play to both of them,” Fury began.
“But let’s not forget—Usyk knows deep down there’s only one man who can beat him. I’ve done it twice, and everyone knows it.”
Fury’s comments, reported by Sportal, come as Usyk continues to cement his legacy in the heavyweight division. Now 38 years old, the Ukrainian superstar boasts an unblemished professional record of 24-0, including two back-to-back wins over Fury—one by split decision in May, followed by a unanimous decision in December.
Known as “The Cat” for his slick movement and ring intelligence, Usyk has become a puzzle many believe is unsolvable. But Fury remains defiant, insisting that he’s cracked the code—even if the official record says otherwise.
The rivalry between the two has been one of the sport’s most talked-about storylines over the past year. With Usyk’s stock higher than ever and Fury showing no signs of backing down, speculation over a potential trilogy fight is already beginning to swirl.
As heavyweight boxing continues to evolve, one thing remains certain: Tyson Fury still believes his time at the top isn’t over—and he’s not done with Usyk just yet.
