Barcelona have announced their travelling squad for Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League encounter with Chelsea, with forward Marcus Rashford returning to the fold after missing the weekend’s LaLiga fixture through illness.
The England international was sidelined during the Catalan club’s emphatic 4–0 victory over Athletic Club, but has now fully shaken off the flu and has been cleared to rejoin the team.
However, Barcelona will make the trip without Pedri. The young midfielder has not recovered sufficiently from his recent injury setback and has been ruled out of the matchday party.
Head coach Hansi Flick will be aiming to guide his side back to winning ways following a disappointing 3–3 draw against Olympiacos in their previous Champions League outing.
