Nigeria international Victor Osimhen reached a major career milestone on Sunday night, scoring his 200th professional goal as Galatasaray secured a convincing 4-0 victory over Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 27-year-old forward found the net in the 26th minute, converting from the penalty spot to score Galatasaray’s second goal of the encounter.
Osimhen also played a key role in his side’s third goal, setting up Gabriel Sara on the hour mark to further extend the hosts’ advantage.
The milestone goal takes Osimhen’s tally to 165 goals at club level and 35 goals for the Nigerian national team, underlining his consistency across domestic and international football.
The striker has now recorded 14 goals in 20 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow and Reds this season.
Galatasaray’s emphatic win ensured the Istanbul giants retained top spot on the league table with 49 points, strengthening their push for the Turkish Super Lig title.
