Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham are keeping close tabs on Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo ahead of the January transfer window, as the 25-year-old continues to attract interest from across the Premier League.
Semenyo signed a new five-year deal with Bournemouth over the summer, despite reported approaches from clubs including Tottenham and Manchester United. His decision to stay came after a busy transfer period in which no summer moves materialized, as Manchester United secured Bryan Mbeumo and Tottenham added Mohammed Kudus.
The forward’s form this season has been exceptional. Semenyo has already scored six Premier League goals, trailing only Erling Haaland (11) and Igor Thiago (8), and his performances are fueling speculation about potential bids when the January window opens.
Speaking earlier this month, Semenyo acknowledged the ongoing transfer chatter but insisted he is focused on football. “I don’t think about it too much. I try to stay present. I see the news like everyone else, but I keep my focus on performing for the team,” he said.
Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola praised Semenyo’s dedication and impact, adding that he could not confirm whether a release clause exists in the player’s new contract. “I’m enjoying my football here. Scoring goals is my priority, and everything else will follow. There was a lot of interest in the summer, but we finished the season strong and added quality players. I’m glad Antoine stayed because he’s thriving and enjoying every moment,” Iraola said.
Tottenham are reportedly seeking a new forward, particularly one who can play on the left, while Liverpool and Manchester City are evaluating long-term options in attack. Semenyo’s continued excellence for Bournemouth, who are currently near the top of the table, has put him firmly on the radar of Europe’s elite clubs.
