ONE bantamweight MMA world champion Fabricio Andrade will defend his title against Netflix’s Physical: 100 star Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu at Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium, live on Sky Sports Mix at 2am on Saturday.
The 28-year-old Brazilian, known as “Wonder Boy,” has built a reputation for explosive finishes, including a fourth-round TKO over former champion John Lineker in 2023 to claim the vacant belt and a 42-second knockout of Kwon Won Il earlier this year to retain it.
Andrade faces a stern test in Baatarkhuu, 36, whose wrestling and ground game could present challenges the champion has rarely encountered. The Mongolian fighter has gained international attention through Netflix and now has a chance to claim a ONE Championship title and elevate Mongolian MMA.
“I don’t want to pick a round or anything like that because I want to enjoy the fight. But definitely, I’m going to finish the fight. The belt is going to stay with me,” Andrade said.
The fight night also features Phetjeeja Lukjaoporongtom returning to Muay Thai against Poland’s Martyna Dominczak, a clash for the vacant ONE flyweight submission grappling title between Diogo Reis and Daiki Yonekura, and BJJ legend Marcelo Garcia facing Lachlan Giles in a lightweight submission grappling bout.
